"Karina demonstrated a solid understanding of the new BC curricular outcomes for the gr. 4 classroom and the conceptual and methodological foundations of education. She demonstrated proficiency in her planning, taking into consideration the learning outcomes for each subject area being taught. Karina included specific First Nations content in her units on Art and Social Studies. She also included the First Nations perspective and inclusion in group discussions when possible. Karina created lessons that would engage her students, no matter what their ability." - Laurie Butler, VIU Field Experience Supervisor, Final Practicum
